Positioned within an existing former Dales Farm in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this small project was designed during the UK’s Covid-19 lockdown. It was factory fabricated as a flat-pack timber enclosure and erected over a three week period in summer 2022 in order to create a new Workshop and Cart Shed.
All materials were sourced and fabricated within a 25 mile radius of the site and erected by the timber structural frame contractor. A local joiner applied the oak cladding and agricultural roofing, assisted by the owner.
